Feng Shui is much more than some recognised techniques on how to move your furniture around to feel more comfortable, it is also a philosophy. As such it looks for the perfect association of harmony between "man" and his home. The integration of the outside world and our internal evironment is a cornerstone of most traditional philosophies. The ancient orientals considered man and environment as a whole unit. What changed within one, then changed the other.
If a building that looks similar to one created using feng shui principles but, is designed without an understanding of the whole, it can create problems for the occupants. It is this subtle relationship of energy that flows from the vibrational world within to the exterior when in harmony, that creates benefits to health and wealth.
Feng Shui is a philosophy of possibility, energy flows and feng shui embraces free will. We can create our own reality through allowing this energy to flow unhindered and become our future. It will be a mere reflection of our own inner psyche.
Feng Shui provides a mean to incorporate life into our buildings, a personality and feeling. This way we feel connected to the whole. There are many spaces in today´s environment that feel cold and unwelcoming. They seem to have lost that feeling of absorbing "life force" which pulsates in every one of us. After a while, these building become derelict, even if you don´t believe in feng shui you can all ready recognise when there is "bad" feng shui!
