Our next course starts September 2008
The Imperial School of Feng Shui, Spain introduces its new 2 year vocational Feng Shui Chue style Practitioner Training Course. The teachings of this course come directly from the Imperial Courts of China, brought to Europe by Master Chan Kun Wah.
This course provides a strong grounding in the fundamentals of Chi, five element theory, form school feng shui (landscape and topographical analysis), the basics of the 'Chue style' Feng Shui Compass, Chinese astrology, and all of the major systems of feng shui 'flying stars'. We will also study special techniques, such as 'five ghosts bringing money', and 'Grand Master Youngs rescue of the poor', and conduct a 'live' investigation of a real building. A lot of the content in this course is not widely available to the general public and has never been published.
For those serious about feng shui and wishing to take their understanding a step further, this course offers valuable skills to make assessments to harmonise business and private properties on a professional level.
It comprises eight modules, one every three months, a total of 24 days spread over two years. Because of the large amount of information given within each module the student will have to complete and set out his own pace of study, to digest and practice the knowledge making it his own rather than knowledge passed down from another. By the end of the course you will see the world through new eyes!
The teaching will be done mainly by Michael Warden, author and certified Chue style teacher and Teri Garcia. Master Chan will attend in the second year module. In the Spanish courses Teri Garcia will act as translator for Master Chan and Michael Warden.
You will receive a certificate of attendance after completing the course and all the homework which will allow you to sit the Practitioner Training examination of the Chue foundation. This examination is optional. The exams will be in Spanish and will be corrected by members of the Chue Foundation examination board and personally by Master Chan. On passing, you will receive a certificate of Practice in Chue style Feng Shui. This enables you to attend advanced courses of Yuen Hom feng shui run by Master Chan of the Imperial School of Feng Shui and Chinese Horoscopes and become a member of the Chue Foundation.
To have the back up of the Chue Foundation is a great benefit to the ongoing development to a feng shui consultant.
The Ba Zi, of Four Pillars is primarily concerned with the balance of the 5 elements in an individual, and how it changes with the influence of time. Analysis of the Ba Zi can reveal information about a person´s character and health, as well as their natural affinity for money, marriage and career (including what type of career). Having determined the balance of elements for an individual, it can be improved by consideration of clothing, colours, diet and feng shui. The material presented will provide a strong foundation for studying Chinese astrology at a more advanced level, and also provides knowledge which is essential for the study of feng shui, such as understanding of the stems and branches, their clashes and combinations, and also the twelve palaces.
It is a little know fact that 70-80% of feng shui influences on a building are from the external surroundings. Location, location, location! We will show you how to interpret features in the countryside, inner city and suburban landscapes. We reveal how the shapes of the 9 Jui Stars, water courses, roads, railways and the Four Celestial Animals all influence the chi circulation. Case studies, photos and practical site visits are available for illustration of these principles and their very real effect on inhabitants!
Based on the cycles of the sun and the moon, this calendar is used to determine the movement of the five elements over time. You will learn how to formulate dates for date selection and Ba Zi through this useful calendar.
We`ll teach you how to cultivate your own "body sensing" ability to "detect the "pulse of chi" and carry out at least two site visits to offer students practical application and examine buildings and environment through feng shui eyes. This ensures a beautiful integration of sophisticated theory with practical insights and the soft skills of sensing energy. In addition to being strongly supported by our traditional lineage, we also keep abreast of modern-day phenomena that feng shui consultants need to examine - including EMF pollution, geopathic stress and sick building syndrome. We show you how to efficiently diagnose for the protection of your client.
Ba Chop, also known as the Eight Houses, or eight mansions, style of feng shui is based on the relationships between the eight trigrams. It uses the early heaven sequence to assess the external environment and the late heaven sequence for interiors. The assertion made in some sources that early heaven is only for Gravesite Feng Shui is incorrect - it is essential that it is used for the exterior of dwellings. This is especially important when one considers that the external surroundings contribute 70-80% of the feng shui influences for a building. Special forms of Ba Chop, such as the "five ghosts bring money" will be covered.
You will learn how to use and read the rings of Yuen Hom compass in Chinese. It is an essential tool for a professional assessment of a property.
This is the most widely taught and practised style of flying star feng shui. Flying means "over time" and this technique is based on 9 fate periods, each of 20 years duration. Specific meanings and interpretations are given to various combinations of numbers (stars), with special significance being given to the mountain and water stars.
Further refining our awarenes of how to trace the energy of a property over time is given in this part of the course. The Yuen Hom style of flying star fengshui originated in the Imperial Courts of China. It is based on eight fate periods that vary in their number of years duration according to the structure of the eight trigrams. Additional information will be added to the San Yuan flying star combinations. As well as providing a powerful means of assessing the energies of a building, this material will provide the foundation for the advanced Yuen Hom study based on the 64 hexagrams of the I-Ching.
This is a yearly almanac traditionally used by Chinese farmers but we will learn to use it to assess the energies present each day.
This ruler is used to ascertain auspicious measurements for doors, furnitures or anything that can be measured!
This style of Feng Shui is also known as "Grand Master Yungs rescue of the Poor" because of its potential to rapidly change the energies of a house relating to money. It is based on assessing the quality of the chi at its source in the surrounding landscape, and also at the doors of the property. The assessment is made using the twelve palaces (from Chinese astrology) and improvements can be made by the use of fences, hedges and the introduction of water in the external environment, as well as by alterations to the building.
This style of feng shui divides a property into 24 sectors rather than the more usual 9. It is therefore well suited to larger commercial premises. It is based on a relationship between the eight trigrams and the stems and branches, which is in turn defined by the cycles of the sun and moon. It uses the "three combinations" of earthly branches which are central to Chinese astrology. Being Based on both early and late heaven sequences of trigrams it can be used to assess both exteriors and interiors.
and much, much more...
